During this celebration, we will delve into the profound implications of the 2024 International Nurses Day theme, ”Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care,” exploring nursing’s challenges, and devising strategic initiatives to garner support and momentum for investing in nurses and our shared future. A declaration advocating for support in nursing and midwifery will be presented for adoption.

This dynamic two-day event will blend celebratory activities with meaningful discussions, showcasing engaging conversations, inspiring keynote speeches, and chances to connect with respected global personalities and representatives from leading international institutions..

Hosts: The event will be hosted by the Order of Nurses, Midwives, and Medical Assistants of Romania, and held under the High Patronage of the President of Romania, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, the Committee for Health and Family of the Chamber of Deputies and the Public Health Committee of the Romanian Senate.

As of 2020, the Palace of the Parliament is valued at €4 billion, making it the most expensive administrative building in the world.

The museums in the Palace are the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Communist Totalitarianism (established in 2015) and the Museum of the Palace.
